493,418. Vacuum - cleaner nozzles. ELECTROLUX, Ltd. Jan. 18, 1938, No. 1704. Convention date, Nov. 19, 1937. Addition to 488,837. [Class 8 (i)] A vacuum-cleaner nozzle is provided, as described in the parent Specification, with a pivotal flap 16 constantly held in one of two alternative positions during use, so that the nozzle area may be adjusted, and an additional opening is provided, such as the opening 23 in the flap, which gives an increased air passage when the nozzle is lifted and so allows the flap to fall freely.
