Abstract
491,750. Toys. PEDERSEN, K. O. J. July 21, 1937, No. 20133. [Class 132 (iii)] A set of building blocks for constructing toy buildings, mills, hoists and aeroplanes comprises plate-shaped blocks, such as shown in Fig. 1, having grooves b and projections a of the same width and depth along the longitudinal sides, and blocks such as shown in Fig. 5 having at their ends two projections g of the same size as the projections a and separated by a groove f of twice the width of the grooves b. The blocks, Fig. 1, may have central projections d of two groove widths and the width c between grooves b on opposite sides of the block is two groove widths. The blocks, Fig. 5, may have grooves h in their sides, having twice the width 'of a groove b. Thicker blocks, Fig. 11, are also provided on which are formed projections k and grooves b corresponding to those shown in Fig. 1, and double width recesses l in the middle of each side. A central hole m is also provided to take a peg. The block shown in Fig. 13 has a central hole n and four elongated projections o corresponding to the projections a and between which are double width grooves p into which fit blocks, Fig. 14, provided with oblique grooves q receiving wings of toy aeroplanes. The block shown in Fig. 19 is provided with a peg r corresponding to the projections a and a recess s receiving a disc having a central hole for an axle which fits into holes t in the block.
