[Class 66] A cardboard or like frangible closure disc 3 is supported upon an inwardly directed bead 4 formed at the end of a sheet metal container, Fig. 2, or of a cardboard &c. container provided with a metal edging 8, Figs. 3, 4, and secured in place by curling inwardly the metal end, the lower part of the curl 5 which bears on the disc being flattened at 5a. Specifications 445,616 and 445,617 are referred to.
