Abstract

480,744. Wireless apparatus. BULGIN & CO., Ltd., A. F., and BULGIN. A. F. Sept. 23, 1937, No. 25875. (Class 40 (v)] A sheet-metal screen for a thermionic valve or like component comprises two semi-cylin. drical members a, b provided with tongues e, f so arranged that the single tongues f fit between the corresponding tongues e to prevent lateral movement when the two halves are joined ; a spring ring d fitting in a channel c holds the members together. The screen is inserted in a base closure member g screwed to panel h and having cutaway - portions which register with embossed parts m on the screen to prevent rotation. The screen is closed at the top by a cap n, slots o being provided for leading in connections to the valve.
