[Class 79 (v)] In hydraulic steering gear, for independentlysprung wheels hydraulic cylinders 10, 101 connected together and to a control cylinder 15 by pipes 14, 16, 17 are pivoted at 9 on carriers 8, the carriers 8 together with other members 6 being pivoted at 7 to the outer ends of the spring-suspension links or axle 3, and the steering swivels 5 being pivoted at 13 to the members 6, the piston of each cylinder 10, 10<1> being connected by its rod 11 in a horizontal plane to the steering arm 12 of the corresponding swivel. The piston 18 of the master or control cylinder 15 is actuated by the steering gear (not shown) through a lever 19.
