468,031. Dividing by fusion. ELLIS, L. S. E. (Messer & Co., Ges.) Dec. 7, 1936, No. 33581. [Class 83 (iv)] The casing of a portable blowpipe cutting machine is provided with a separate motor for driving a blower or fan for sucking in air at the end of the casing away from the blowpipe so as to cool the machine. The blowpipe 5 is carried externally of the casing 1 which carries wheels 4 driven through gearing by an electric motor mounted in the casing. At one end of the casing is mounted a separate motor driving a fan 7 which sucks air into the casing through openings and blows it through the casing. The air escapes through openings at the other end of the casing and through lateral openings inclined in the direction of the blowpipe.
