[Class 97 (iii)] A navigational plotting instrument comprises arms 4, 5, secured together to form a T, an apertured cursor 8 slidable on the arm 5, and a protractor 13 pivotally mounted on the cursor with its centre on a working edge of the arm 5. A pair of pointers -12 co-operating with the graduations on the protractor are fixed to the cursor 8 and a hair line 11 extends across the aperture 9 in the cursor.
