[Class 18] A cardboard &c. box &c. for containing and distributing pills, pastilles, &c. is made by wrapping the blank shown in Fig. 2, round a frame 14, shown in Fig. 9, panel 8 forming the bottom, panel 2 the top, panel 6 a hinged lid, and panel 10 lying on panel 8. The frame 14 is recessed at 16 and carries a slide 15 formed by wrapping the blank shown in Fig. 3, around one side. of the frame, so that on sliding the piece 15 by means of a tail 20 the recess 16 is opened alternately to the inside and the outside of the box so that one pill &c. at a time may be delivered. In the form shown in Figs. 17, 19 and 21 the slide is replaced by a stationary piece constituted by wrapping the blank 28 shown in Fig. 19, round the frame with an end 31 projecting. When the end 31 is drawn outwards, an aperture 30 registers with a delivery aperture 23 and recess 27 is closed to the inside of the box. When the piece 31 is moved inwards, delivery aperture 23 is obturated and access is had to the recess 27 from the inside of the box past the edges of the strip 28. In the form shown in Figs. 24 and 32, the fitting 35, Fig. 24, is placed on the bottom of the box 39 and the pills &c. are positioned within the enclosure 36, 37. A lid 46 with a depending tongue 46<a>, provides by its rotation for the opening of recess 37 alternately to the inside and the outside of the box.
