[Class 105] A railway signalling system with axlecounting apparatus operated by quick-acting light treadles is prevented from being accidentally operated by a workman stepping on such a treadle, by providing an associated heavy treadle which only when depressed by the train opens a contact in parallel with the light-treadle contact. Thus an operation only of the light treadle will not give an impulse " break " to actuate the axle-counting apparatus.
