457,753. Washing-machines. ROGERS, F. H., 181, Queen Victoria Street, London.- (Prosperity Co., Inc. ; Beattie Street, Syracuse, New York, U.S.A.) July 26, 1935, No. 27012/36. Divided out of 457,672. [Class 138 (ii)] The clothes receptacle 12 and stationary casing 7 of a rotary washing-machine are provided with coaxial loading and unloading apertures which are closed by doors 41, 94 which move together as a unit, the receptacle door 41 being carried rotatably on a bearing 95 supported by the casing door 94. The bearing is adjustably mounted axially in the casing door by means of the screw and nut 97, 99 and is adjustable radially by means of bolts 100 engaging in enlarged apertures 101 in the casing door whereby good seating of the receptacle door is provided.
