[Class 86] A rotary mixing-drum divided into a number of chambers by inclined cross partitions fitted with apertures has means for varying the size of the apertures. The drum 1 is fed from a hopper 7 at one end and discharges at the other, and the apertures 9 in the partitions 3 are controlled by pivoted shutters 14. A pipe 12 projects into the drum for feeding additional ingredients.
