Abstract
454,373. Refrigerators. FREEMAN, L. H., 119, Broadhurst Gardens, Kilburn, London. March 26, 1935, No. 9341. [Class 29] A cabinet for cooling bottles of beverages, &c., comprises inner and outer walls 10, 10<1> of stainless steel or other metal enclosing insulation between them, a perforated shelf or false bottom 17 on which the bottles are placed, and a coil 18 below the false bottom for the circulation of a refrigerant from a machine, the cabinet being charged with liquid in which the bottles are partly immersed. Sliding or hinged doors 13, 14 are provided at the top, or drop doors may be provided at the front of the cabinet, which may be divided into separate compartments, the refrigerant coils being in series or in parallel. The circulation of refrigerant may be controlled thermostatically. In another arrangement the refrigerant coil may be located between two perforated sheets forming a false bottom. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to U.S.A. Specifications 1,846,219 and 1,875,264.
