424,071. Cycle chain - adjusters. CYCLO GEAR CO., Ltd., and CAMILLIS, L., 92, Bath Street, Birmingham. Sept. 23, 1933, No. 26256. [Class 136 (iii)] In cycle chain-adjusters of the type comprising slotted eye-bolts 4, 5 which are adapted to engage the wheel spindle mounted in slots 3 in the fork ends 1 and are provided with a pivotal connection to the fork ends 1, so that they can be swung out of engagement with the wheel spindle to facilitate removal of the wheel, the pivotal connection comprises a sleeve 7 slidably engaged with the shank 5 and provided with a rigid transverse peg 8, which is revolubly mounted in a hole in the fork end 1 and is screw-threaded at 9 to receive a securing-nut 10, the exterior of the sleeve 7 forming an abutment for the adjusting-nut 6. The threaded part 9 is reduced as shown to form a shoulder against which the nut 10 is screwed.
