Abstract
415,300. Card clothing. OTTO, W., 12, Dohlerstrasse, Leisnig, Saxony, Germany. Dec. 6, 1933, No. 34250. Convention date, Dec. 6, 1932. [Class 120 (iii).] In card clothing for use on rollers of comparatively small diameter in nap raising or dressing machines, the foundation consists of an upper thin layer of felt 2 Fig. 1, and one or more layers of rubber 4 alternating with one or more layers of cloth 3. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the layers of rubber 4 are of the same thickness while the cloth layers 3 are of different thickness. Alternatively, three layers of rubber may be provided, decreasing in thickness downwardly, the third layer forming the base of the foundation. Specification 309,986, [Class 120 (iii)], is referred to.
