Abstract
415,230. Reflectors. FARROW, W. C., 255, High Street, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. June 2, 1933, No. 15924. [Class 97 (i).] A cover for cycle saddles, combined with a reflex light, consists of two sheet-metal parts a, b, Fig. 2, jointed together transversely, as by spring pivot pins p, so as to be foldable together, the cover being hinged or linked at e, f to a support i attached to the saddle pin, in such a way that when folded it can be swung back into a vertical position behind the saddle, as shown in Fig. 3, in which position, a red reflector g fitted in the part b is visible from the rear. In the folded position, a pin c on the part b engages a spring clip d on the part a, and a spring olip h engages the lower end of the supporting-bar i. The bar i is attached to the saddle pin by means of a telescopic bar k, l and a clip n, wing-nuts for adjustment being provided at j, m.
