Abstract
411,361. Draughtexcluders. GRIFFITHS, E., 1, The Oval, Market Drayton, Shropshire. Oct. 27, 1933, No. 29835. [Class 20 (iii).] A draught-preventer for doors and the like of the spring-pressed rod kind, comprises round rods a resiliently mounted on screws, which have interposed coil springs g and the heads of which are recessed into the rods. The edges of the rods are mitred at the corners of the door and a metal-lined engaging groove d is provided in the door frame. The door hinges are preferably provided with recessed leaves conforming. to the recesses b, d in the door and frame. At the sill of the door, the rod is preferably mounted in the sill instead of in the door bottom.
