203,640. Fergusson, A. May 14, 1923. Pivoted-sliding windows. - In pivotedsliding windows the sashes 1, 2, which are held by spring-pressed holders of the type clescribed in Specification 27036/09, are provided at each side with a pin 4, 5 engaging a slot 6, 7 in the window frame, the base of the slot being fitted with a plate 8. 9 serving as a journal on which the sash is oscillated. The window is provided with removable battens 11, rabbeted facings 14, and rabbeted parting rods 12. Specifications 4523/78, 15984/91, 18204/93, 26304/97, 21114/98, 10087/03, and 16035/09 also are referred to.
