407,899. Projectiles. SOC. METALLURGICA ITALIANA, 18, Via Leopardi, Milan, Italy. Nov. 3, 1933, No. 30635. Convention date, Nov. 7, 1932. Addition to 393,852. [Class 9 (i).] Relates to projectiles in which a closed casing is fitted in a projectile and projects therefrom so as to be broken on impact and liberate a phosphorus charge which becomes ignited on exposure to air, all as described in the parent Specification. According to the invention, the casing 1, which is closed at the rear by a lead plug 3, is arranged in a cup 2, which is screwed or otherwise detachably mounted in the nose 5 of an ordinary projectile.
