Abstract
406,596. Tubes for heat exchangers. MATHER, C., 353, The Cliff, Higher Broughton, Salford, Lancashire. Sept. 5, 1933, No. 24538. [Class 64 (iii).] A heating or cooling radiator element comprises two or more independent tubes 9, 10 spaced apart by end and intermediate pieces 11, the complete element being, preferably, of circular crosssection. The tubes may be of various sections such as a segment, a sector, or a quadrant of a circle respectively, according to the number of tubes in the composite element. The tubes may be bulged at the ends to form circular connections with the headers, and gills 12 may be fitted on the complete element. Specification 404,561 is referred to.
