Abstract

405,485. Washing-machines. KRAUSS, F. E., 3, Wildenauer Weg, Schwarzenberg, Saxony, Germany. April 8, 1933, No. 10613. Convention date, April 8, 1932. [Class 138 (ii).] A small centrifuge, particularly for household purposes, is arranged with gearing and a handle for manual operation. It is provided with a bell n for pounding washing in the drum a which is afterwards dried by rotation of the drum by the archimedean screw and nut k, kl. Other forms of gearing may be employed between the handle and the drum. The pounder may be formed of the drum itself acting in another container.
