Washing-machines with rotary dollies. - The rotary oscillating wooden agitator, slidingly keyed upon an oscillating vertical shaft 6 within a tub, has several blades 4 extending radially in vertical planes from a central boss, and connected by fillets 5. The driving-shaft, which passes through the bottom of the wash-tub 1, is oscillated by an electro-motor 10 through a worm 11, worm-wheel 12, and link-work 14, 15, 16 operating a quadrant 17. There are slots between the upper and lower surfaces of the radial blades of the agitator, which can adjust itself vertically on the central shaft.
