Abstract
402,198. Kinematograph apparatus. LUBOSHEZ, B. E., 108, Station Road, Harrow, Middlesex. Aug. 16, 1932, No. 22957. [Class 97 (i).] A camera or projector comprises four lenses e<1>-e<4>, with parallel axes, arranged at the corners of a rectangle, and a rotary shutter g effecting exposure, through each lens in turn, on to a film h passing along a film track behind two lenses e<1>, e<2> on one side of the rectangle, and returning along a track behind the other two lenses. The film passes from a spool c to a spool d, forms loops between the lenses e<1> e<2>, and e<3> e', and is turned through 180‹ between the lenses e<2> e'. Successive images are spaced along the film, and may have overlapping exposures, as described in Specification 356,324. Film shift is effected at each gate in turn, while the corresponding lens is covered, by separate mechanisms, and the mechanisms may be of the type described in Specification 396,416. The images may extend in one rank along the film, or may form four ranks or two ranks. Means for neutralizing the effects of film shrinkage are described. The spools may be behind the lenses, as shown, being separated by a partition b with an aperture b or may be lower than the lenses so as to permit the use of a projector lamp behind the gates.
