372,315. Kinematograph apparatus. DEBRIE, A. L. V. C., 111, Rue St.Maur, Paris. Jan. 28, 1931, No. 2804. Convention date, March 6, 1930. [Classes 97 (i) and 98 (i).] A kinematograph camera, comprising two objective systems having interconnected obturators covering one objective system as the other is uncovered, is characterized by a single intermittent shutter covering the film gate or immediately adjacent gates operative with the objectives. As shown, the objective 2 forms a picture at a on the film 1, while the objective 3 perpendicular to the objective 2 is adapted by means of the mirror 4 to form an image at b on the film 1. The mirror 5 may be angularly displaced to find the scene in the objective 3. The obturators may comprise iris diaphragms operated by solenoids controlled by a common switch. The objective 3 may be obliquely disposed, and may, by using a semi-silvered mirror 4, form its image on the same part a as the objective 2.
