400,749. Moistening air. TEXTILE ILLUMINATING & ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. and SUTCLIFFE, R., Victoria Works, Whitefield, Lancashire. Aug. 22, 1932, No. 23432. [Class 55 (ii).] Apparatus for humidifying air, comprises a radiator B combined with a fan, and compressed air water spray heads E1 .. E4, steam being supplied by a pipe C, and the water of condensation being collected in a reservoir after passage through a steam trap G. The apparatus may be used for supplying warm air which is humidified by supplying warm water to the spray heads, or cold air may be supplied which is humidified with cold water fed to the reservoir F by a pipe N from a tank in which the level is maintained constant.
