Abstract
398,269. Dispensing liquids. GASKELL & CHAMBERS, Ltd., and WEIGHTMAN, J. S., Dale End, Birming- ham. March 21, 1932, No. 8298. [Class 116.] In apparatus for dispensing beer &c. of the kind including a beer pump and a tap, the beer tap 10 is provided with a square or other non- rotatable spigot 12 which has a flange 13 abutting against the beer pump casing 14 and extends through and beyond a hole in the said casing to receive the end of the beer delivery pipe 18. This pipe is connected up by wing nuts 17, 25 to facilitate ready removal and replacement, for cleaning. The boss 22 on the pump cylinder has a delivery passage of straight form so that a brush can readily be inserted for cleaning the passage and the head of the pump piston. The spout 26 of the tap is also detachable to facilitate cleaning the tap itself also having a straight-through passage.
