Abstract
394,398. Nails; wood-screws. ROSENBERG, H., 200, Varick Street, New York. U.S.A. Jan. 1, 1932, No. 102. [Class 89 (ii).] A drive screw has a cylindrical portion 3 on its shank, of smaller diameter than the threads 5 to act as a piercing tool when used in conjunction with roofing sheets, thus forming a cylindrical burr 7 in the sheet. The root diameter of the thread is smaller than the diameter of the part 3. Specification 274,833, [Class 89 (ii), Hooks &c.], is referred to.
