Abstract

390,882. Sheet-delivery apparatus. SPIESS, G., 78, Zschochersche Strasse, Leipsic, Germany. Nov. 19, 1931, No. 32143. Convention date, April 22. [Class 100 (i).] The pile table 11, on which paper sheets are delivered from a printing-machine, is pivotally mounted on an axle 4 situated at one side of the machine so that when the table is full it can be swung laterally out of the machine. If desired, an axle 4 can be provided at each side of the machine and the table detachably connected thereto so that it may be swung out on either side. As shown in Fig. 1, a bracket 12 supporting the table 11 has bosses 13, 14 engaging the axle 4, and between them is a boss 15 fixed to the axle 4. When the table 11 is in operative position, a screw 16 can be passed through coinciding holes in the boss 15 and bracket 12 so as to fix the table. When dealing with heavy loads, the bracket 12 is provided centrally thereof with a supporting leg having a roller resting on the floor. The axle 4 is lowered by rack-and-pinion mechanism 5, 8 operated either automatically or by a hand-wheel 10.
