Abstract
389,250. Water-tube steam boilers. GES. FœR LA MONT-KESSEL UND KRAFTWIRTSCHAFT (VORM. TECHNISCHE ZENTRALE DR. HERPEN GES.), 1B, Schadowstrasse, Berlin. Feb. 10, 1932, No. 3969. Convention date, Feb. 13, 1931. [Class 123 (ii).] In a boiler having a forced water circulation and heated partly by furnace radiation and partly by convection, a number of tubes 10, Fig. 1, are arranged on the wall or roof of the furnace chamber and are continued into the path of the furnace gases in single or multiple U-shape bends 4. The bent parts may be arranged horizontally across the top of the furnace chamber. The tubes 11, Fig. 3, line the walls of a furnace chamber 13 through which the gases pass horizontally into side flues containing the U-shaped continuations 12. Water is drawn by a pump from the steam and water drum 3 and supplied to the headers 1.
