381,747. Guns. CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA AKCIOVA SPOLECNOST V. BRNE and STALLER, K., 7, U. Lazaretu, Br³nn, Czecho-Slovakia. Nov. 9, 1931, No. 31085. [Classes 92 (ii) and 119.] To support the gun barrel x during firing and during its detachment or replacement, the muzzle end 15 is slidably carried in a socket 16 rockably mounted in a member 18 fixed to the forward ends of supporting rails 10. The member 18 is formed with two intersecting bores which allow the rocking movement of the socket 16 to which is secured the silencer 30. Axial rotation of the silencer is prevented by a projection 33 on the socket, which engages a recess 34 in the silencer when the barrel is moved into the horizontal position for locking engagement with recesses 3 on the barrel support 1. The rocking and locking movement of the barrel is effected by operating a handle h that also serves to transport the barrel.
