378,214. Weatherboarding. DUCKWORTH,-T., 3, Church Lane, Essex Road, London. Aug. 25, 1931, No. 23852. [Class 20 (iv).] Weatherboarding for roofs and walls comprises boards A grooved at opposite edges to receive jointing pieces B of the form shown. For roofs, the pieces B are arranged to stretch from the ridge to the wall plate. The boards and pieces are nailed or otherwise secured in place, each board being attached by a single nail or screw to permit expansion or contraction. The boards A may be covered with cement, concrete, or other fireproof material. The weatherboarding may be used as undersheeting for slated or tiled roofs.
