Abstract
376,311. Electric lamp holders. GRAHAM, J., 41, Hout Street, Cape Town, South Aftica. April 8, 1931, No. 10392. [Class 39 (ii).] The two contact pieces or blocks 10, Fig. 3, carrying the spring-plunger contacts 8 of a bayonet-joint lamp holder are each provided with a hole 11 to receive the split contactpins 12, Fig. 4, of a plug or adaptor 16, and conductors 17 passing from the contact blocks 10 through the insulating-body 5 of the holder are provided for the attachment of the leading- in wires. The insulating-body of the plug 16 is formed with clearance holes 13 to receive the plunger contacts 8 of the lamp holder when they are coupled together. Guide pins 14 on the plug engage within the vertical portions of the bayonet-slots 9 in the lamp socket 1.
