Abstract

372,962. Linoleum. RYLANDS & SONS, Ltd. and POLLITT, A., 36, Princess Street, Manchester. May 29, 1931, No. 15709. [Class 140.] Linoleum is made by spreading ground cork composition on a backing of wool felt impregnated with bituminous material and pressing between heated rollers. The surface of the felt may be scored or perforated to assist adhesion. The cork face is painted or printed with an ornamental design and the exposed surface of the @ is also painted. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 127,536 and 248,058, [both in Class 140, Waterproof &c. fabrics].
