Abstract
370,597. Lubricating traveller rings. GRANGER, A. D., New Tythe Street Mills, Long Eaton, Derbyshire. March 7, 1931, Nos. 7113 and 13738. [Class 12 (ii).] The holding plate A of a traveller ring B for a doubling machine is formed on its upper face with a raised rib C disposed at a short distance from and extending round the ring so as to form a well D for the reception of viscous oil, which passes through ducts E in the ring to lubricate the traveller F. The rib C may extend wholly round the ring or only partially, as shown, or there may be two ribs extending partially round opposite parts of the ring.
