Abstract
368,952. Discharge apparatus. ALLGEMEINE ELEKTRICIT€TS-GES., 2, Friedrich Karl-Ufer, Berlin. Feb. 20, 1931, No. 5450. Convention date, Feb. 20, 1930. [Class 39 (i).] One or more of the conductors supporting an anode and cathode are fused into the bottom of a depression which is pressed, bored or otherwise formed in a foot, and serves to prevent secondary discharges due to the deposit of metal &c. on the foot. As shown, each of two conductors a, supporting the anode of a thermionic valve, is fused into a foot c having depressions b formed around the conductor. In another arrangement, the supports for two anodes of a gas discharge tube are mounted in a similar manner.
