368,000. Hose connectors.- HERZ, GES. S., 187, K÷penickerstrasse, Berlin. Jan. 19, 1931, No. 1759. Convention date, Jan. 22, 1930. [Class 99 (i).] A rubber sleeve 1, Fig. 1, for connecting a metal hose 7 to a pipe, nipple, &c. consists of a part 2, preferably provided with integral corrugations 3, which is slidden on to the end of the pipe, and a part 4 formed with a thread 5 which is engaged with the hose. For use with rubber-covered hose the part 4 is provided with an extension 6 to grip the cover. A modified sleeve having the part 4 threaded internally is shown in Fig. 3.
