365,754. Galvanic batteries ; electrolytic rectifiers. SOC. ANON. LE CARBONE, 37, Rue de Paris, Gennevilliers, Seine, France. Dec. 30, 1930, No. 39169. Convention date, Nov. 17. [Classes 37 and 53.] An electrode for use in a galvanic battery, electrolytic rectifier or the like, is composed of carbonized fabric which may be activated. The fabric may be wrapped on a porous rod or perforated tube, or, as shown in Fig. 1, may be wrapped round a conducting gauze cylinder a as shown at g. In the form shown in Fig. 4, the carbonized fabric g is wrapped round supports a, a<1> to form the positive electrodes of a multiple element battery. Specifications 180,982, 190,101, and 236,884, [all in Class 53, Galvanic batteries], are referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 2776/82, [Class 53, Galvanic batteries].
