Abstract
360,257. Atomizers. ANDVIG, H., 34, Ullevalsveien, Oslo, Norway. Dec. 29, 1930, No. 39022. [Class 69 (iii).] A mouth-cleaning apparatus of the kind comprising a vessel 1 containing a cleansing liquid and a compressed gas flask 7 for atomizing the liquid has the vessel 1 formed with a central gas channel 2 open at the bottom and communicating with its interior through a narrow channel 3. The gas flask 7, the outlet valve of which mav be controlled by a lever 9 is contained in a cylinder 6 screwed into a depending flange 5 in the liquid chamber and has its neck extending into the channel 2 where it presses against packing 8. The gas supply may also be regulated by a screw valve 11 which may also serve to actuate a member 12 for piercing the seal of the flask 7. Liquid is ejected through the tube 15 and past a non-return valve 20. Gas is admitted to the tube 15 through a hole 19 from a tube 17 into which it enters by an opening 18.
