359,362. Sanitary napkins. JOHNSON & JOHNSON (GT. BRITAIN), Ltd., Slough, Buckinghamshire. March 16, 1931, No. 8055. [Class 81 (ii).] A pad for a sanitary napkin comprises a mass 5 of fibrous cellulosic material, a wrapper 6, preferably of thin sheets of cellular wadding partly enclosing the mass and having free longitudinal edges 8, and a sheet of material 7, rendered impervious to liquids, and lying on the mass beneath the edges 8. The pad is enclosed in an outer gauze sheath.
