Convention date, March 7, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 4.] The continuous main spar or spars of a wing are arranged to pass directly over or under the aeroplane fuselage and are connected. to an outer longeron in such a manner that the strain is directly transmitted from one to the other. Fig. 5 shows a wing mounted directly on a fuselage by means of connections A, B to transverse frames S. The wing is also connected at points B to longerons R disposed tangentially to the upper side of wing spar H. According to a modification, Fig. 6, the wing is connected at points A, C, so that the connections at B only transmit the strain in the longerons R. The Specification does not permit of satisfactory abridgment.
