Abstract
350,380. Current and pressure meters. FERRANTI, Ltd. and BANNER, E. H. W., Hollinwood, Lancashire. Feb. 1, 1930, No. 3522. [Class 37.] Electromagnetic current and pressure meters of the fixed and moving iron type are provided with a magnetic member a disposed at one end of the energizing winding and having extensions a<1>, a<2> which can be moved rectilineally or pivotally at will in relation to the path of the moving iron in order to produce a torque additional to the main torque and obtain an extended or contracted scale reading. Two separately adjustable magnetic members may be employed. After adjustment the member a is secured by screws d engaging the flange of the winding spool.
