350,071. Rotary engines. FITZAL, F., 14A, Via Alessandro Farnese, JONQUI- —RES, G. P., 35, Piazza S. Luigi dei Francesi, and MARIOTTI, M., 68, Via Muzio Clementi, all in Rome. March 17, 1930, No. 8583. [Class 110 (ii).] Movable-abutment type.- The rotor is built up of three superposed eccentrics 4<11>, 4<1>, 4, of which the eccentric 4<11> is integral with the shaft 3. The eccentrics 41, 411 are mounted so that the centre lines of their maximum eccentricities are at right-angles to each other while a line drawn through the maximum eccentricity of the member 4 bisects the angle subtended by the above lines. An outer ring 6 runs on ball bearings 5. The hinged abutment 27 is pressed against the ring 6 by a helical spring 15 on a pivot 11.
