Convention date, Aug. 3, 1929. [Class 36.] In order to prevent the formation of corona in the inner layers of a hard paper insulator having conductive insertions d1 .. d5, the inner insertion d1 is electrically connected to the conductor a which passes through the insulator. The outer insertion d5 may be connected to the earth flange c of the insulator.
