Addition to 283,752, [Class 120 (ii), Spinning, twisting, &c.]. [Classes 120 (ii) and 120 (iii).] The tensioning effect of the draft rollers 6 .. 11 of the parent Specification is replaced by braking means applied to the thread. The braking effect may be obtained by the application of known braking means to the winding-off spool or by the interposition of rollers or rods round which the thread may pass in an angled course from the feed.
