Abstract

284,684. Sindl, O. Feb. 5, 1927, [Convention date]. Hanks, treating. - In the treatment of textile threads, and particularly of artificial silk, in the form of skeins, the skeins 5 are carried on rods 4 and weighted by rods 6, the rods 4 being supported in notches 3 in the side members 1 of a frame in which the skeins can be conveyed through the machines without the necessity of further transference. The frames are constructed of hardened artificial resin of a mixture of artificial resin and fibrous material, or of metal covered therewith. Specification 284,726 is referred to.
