[Class 113 (ii).] In order to impart a certain amount of resilience to the bulkheads 1, the longitudinals 4 are connected directly to the bulkheads 1 or to the longitudinal stiffeners 6 thereon by brackets 10 which are lighter than the brackets usually employed and fewer rivets are employed for the necessary connections. The rivet holes may be slightly oblong to facilitate the desired freedom.
