337,484. Mayhew, C. J. Aug. 8, 1929. Heating and cooking vessels; lids and covers. -Apparatus for cooking or warming food comprises a water trough A, an integral or removable support a for a food container B, and a cover D which is shaped to conduct water of condensation towards the sides thus preventing it from dripping on to the food; the cover being also provided with an inwardly tapering flange d to fit into the correspondingly tapered trough A. An outwardly directed flange d' may also be provided. The support a may either be in the form of integral projections as shown, or a separate grid with a lifting handle may be provided. The container B when removed is placed in a recessed plate E for serving.
