411,531. Electric cooking-ovens. ROEMER, C. W. DE, 20, Arthur Road, Wimbledon Park, London. Dec. 9, 1932, No. 35002. [Class 39 (iii).] A portable electric cooker comprises a stand 11 containing heat-insulating material 14 and heating elements 19, a food receptacle 12 with bent over edges 24 seating on the top of the walls of the stand, and a lid 13 the side walls of which extend downwards into the receptacle 12 for a short distance and are then bent upwards and outwards over the bent edges 24. Local extensions of the edges 24 form handles 25. The lid may have a lining of heat-insulating material, and may be provided with an electric heating element.
