Abstract

335,054. Field, J. M. C. Sept. 16, 1929. Bolts; washers.-A bolt for attaching fittings to the exterior of walls has a T-head 3, which is inserted through a slot in the wall. The bolt is rotated through a suitable angle and a pronged washer 8, which is prevented from turning on the bolt by tht flat 5, engages the outer face of the wall, the prongs fitting into the slot therein. The washer is clamped by a nut 10. In a modification the flat on the bolt is replaced by a longitudinal groove which receives a projection on the inner periphery of the washer.
