Electrodes; electrolytes; absorbents.-A dry cell comprises electrodes of lead and carbon and an electrolyte of lead chloride solution made into a paste with flour and gum. The carbon is in the form of a rod and is surrounded with a manganese peroxide depolarizer. The lead electrode may constitute the container.
