Abstract

327,263. Hansen, L. March 8, 1929. Detachable-rim attachments to wheels. - A detachable rim 22 is fitted with spaced pairs of lugs 23 which are assembled in transverse slots 13, 21 in the fixed rim 11 and a locking-ring, respectively, the latter being adjusted circumferentially to secure the rim 22. The locking-ring comprises curved segments 14 connected by links 15, 16 which are engaged by oppositely-arranged eccentrics 18 on an operating-shaft 19 having a squared end. The parts may be locked by a block adapted to engage the squared end of the shaft 19; or the fixed rim 11 and the segments 14 may be formed with co-operating slots to receive locking-wedges.
